Hi friends! Today I have a tutorial to share made for this month's Eileen Hull Art with Heart challenge. The team are doing clean and simple projects this week, and were encourage to try to complete the project within ten minutes.
For me, the secret to a quick project is usually to avoid spending too much time deciding what products to do and what project to do, and to do techniques that are pretty fast, such as a quick background technique. When it comes to gift packaging, you often need to make one quickly, so I thought I'd make a gift box using the Toolbox Box die. I really like the shape of this box. For a more elaborate project using this same day, check out my Nature's Toolbox, with an according book inside.
I used Brusho Crystals for a very quick, and pretty interesting, background.
I covered mat board with burlap and die cut three buttons from it with the Buttons, Border & Trim die. Tie twine in the holes and glue to the box.
Thank you for visiting today! I hope you will join us in this month's Art With Heart challenge.
