Distress Micro Glaze Resist Tutorial

Hi and welcome! I am happy to share a tutorial on the Ranger blog today, and it is for a technique that I was really happy with.

I love resist techniques and Ranger's new Distress Micro Glaze is perfect for that since it is a water resistant sealer. I got the idea of trying to use it together with a stencil and in combination with a background stamp. The graph background stamp almost disappear in the areas without glaze while it remains crips under the glaze. I was happy with the cool distressed resist effect.

I also used the Bird Crazy stamp set and the coordinating Sizzix Thinlits die set, and one of Tim Holtz's new punches. You might also be able to spot some shrink plastic.

To see the full tutorial, head over to Ranger's site.

Thank you for visiting today!

Happy crafting!
